- Brant County Libraries This site lists the hours and locations of all the Brant County library branches: Paris, Burford, Glen Morris, Scotland, St. George. Use these as resources for area newspapers and local history collections.

- Archives of Ontario - Genealogy Page The Ontario Archives has four main types of records useful to genealogists: vital statistics, court records, land registration records, and Ontario census microfilms
- National Archives of Canada - Genealogy Page This site offers an online index to the 1871 Census of Ontario. Early land records (for Upper Canada) are stored in the National Archives.
Internet Genealogy Resources for Ontario - Brant County
- Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid This tool can assist in the location of burial sites in Ontario. Once information has been located using OCFA - contact the branch of the OGS listed to receive the full record. Please note that most of the information from cemteries is transcribed directly from the stones and may be very brief. Also, there are still cemeteries that are not included in the OCFA 1998 version.
